Regional Development Australia is an Australian Government Initiative that aims to bring together all levels of government to enhance the growth and development of regional Australia.
The four key functions for national RDA network are:
Community and economic development
Consultation and community engagement
Regional planning
Promoting whole of government programs policies and initiatives

Regional Development Australia – Far West NSW (RDA – Far West NSW)
Regional Development Australia – Far West NSW is part of the network of RDA committees and is a locally managed, non-profit, community based organisation jointly funded by the Australian and NSW governments.
Regional Development Australia – Far West NSW will provide input to the Australian, State and Local governments on regional development issues and priorities, promote investment and regional prosperity and raise awareness of programs and services available to regional communities.
Regional Development Australia – Far West NSW is now a Regional Certifying Body for the Department of Immigration and Citizenships Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme Visa.
